But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26 KJV)
Having our first grand baby has been everything our friends told us it would be. We miss him when we’re away from him, we drive an hour and a half to see him, and we’re already falling into the trap of spoiling him. Did I mention the fact that his Grammy spent the night with him again last night? The little dude does have a way with the women. Seriously, he is wonderful, but with this little bundle of joy has come the responsibility of raising him. Besides the initial shock of crying, dirty diapers, and late night feedings, there is this ominous task of taking the blank slate of a new life and discipling him in the ways of God and how to live. Thank God we will have the help of the Holy Spirit! Just as with our children, the Holy Spirit will reprove us, He will rebuke us, and He will guide us into the way we should lead Micah Thomas. He will teach us how to be grandparents. I’ve learned this process by watching how my heavenly Father continues to teach me. Every time I think I’m doing pretty good the Holy Spirit lovingly teaches me a better way than I thought possible, he leads me into a deeper relationship than I knew could exist, and He reveals to me a more powerful revelation than I’ve ever had. He teaches me! May we be good students and quick studies as the Holy Spirit teaches us is my prayer.
Keeping the Victory,
