I wonder sometimes if the bad attitudes we encounter from others isn’t all their fault. I wonder if they had parents that always affirmed them, a church that encouraged them, and friends that supported them? So many times bad attitudes are developed from bad interaction with others. Proverbs enlightens us on a powerful principle that can truly change the lives of the people we interact with. A word that is spoken at the right time and in the right way is a beautiful thing! Someone’s day can be turned right side up if we speak the right words to them. Someone will feel better about themselves or their situation if we speak the right words to them. Someone will be encouraged to not give up if we speak the right words to them. May God help us to rightly apply our words is my prayer.
