It’s In The Waiting

Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which saith He, ye have heard of Me.

When I was a child the count down started at just after noon on December 25th for the next Christmas. Back then, twelve months seemed like an eternity, but Christmas is always worth waiting for. The gifts, the fun, and family makes the wait worth while, and besides all that, we knew our parents would get us good gifts. Christmas is never a disappointment and neither is God. When God makes a promise, He always keeps it. The challenge for us is to enjoy the wait. During the wait time we can either dread it, endure it, and complain about it, or we can embrace it, grow in it, and speak by faith about what God is about to do! May we all learn to enjoy the wait is my prayer.

Keeping it Real!
