Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt harken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandants which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.

Maybe one of the most popular messages of today’s preachers is that God wants to bless you. The truth is that God has promised many blessings in His Word. He says He will bless you, your family, your business, your investments, the people you come in contact with and everything you put your hands to do. But, there is one small thing that always seems to be left out of the message. If! The promises of God hinge on the little word if. The contingency is always: if we will hear and obey what God is saying to us. What it comes down to is that our actions have to line up with God’s conditions and the promises become ours. May our obedience to God become the catalyst for great blessings in our lives is my prayer.
