Judges 2:10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which He had done for Israel.

This portion of Scripture describes this generation as well as any in the Bible. It’s as if it was written with 2014 in mind. All around us are people who either have false information about God or they know nothing about Him at all. At the same time we have a Church full of “it’s all about me” so called Christians who are more interested in getting their worship experience fix than they are about reaching the lost. Out of the ashes of what was once the on fire Church, God is raising up a remnant of followers who are believing for the miracle working power of Jesus Christ to transform this generation. No matter what they look like or what they’ve done, God wants to save them from their sins and His plan is still to use His Church. The question for us is this: What about this generation? Are they worth saving? Don’t they deserve the same opportunity we were given to know Christ? I say the believing Church must rise up from the ashes and take the Gospel to this generation with love and mercy and show them that Christ truly died for them. May we spend our selves on fulfilling God’s mission is my prayer.
