Acts 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

This is the charge Jesus gave the Church, “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to everybody”. Our job as Christians is to preach the Gospel in such a way that we persuade men to come to Christ. Years ago I was blessed to get to work with a Pastor friend of mine. His witness at work was awesome because he was always joyous and pleasant. One day when things weren’t going so great at work I noticed that in the midst of the turmoil my friend was still smiling. When we were alone later I thanked him for his attitude in the midst of the trouble. His comment to me has stuck with me every since. He said, “well I learned a long time ago that our job as Christians is to make Christ look so good that everybody will want Him no matter what our situation”. My friend was so right, we must persuade men to come to Christ. We should be painting a picture of Christ that makes Him look like He really is; awesome! No one wants to emulate someone whose down-trodden, sad, depressed, and negative, so keep your chin up, your smile on and let your faith rise. May we all let Christ shine is my prayer.
