Psalms 121:1,2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. (2) My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Just a reminder. God is for you, not against you. The psalmist lived with this powerful revelation, that God was his help. This is how he defeated Goliath, killed a lion, and overcame the relentless pursuit Saul. He had help! David is not alone in his need for help. We may be too proud to admit it, but we all need help. Help is just a prayer away. God may send someone to help you, He may provide resources to help you, or He may even move Heaven and Earth to help you, but He will help you. Where ever you are, what ever your need may be, you can call out to God and he will help you. The answers that have eluded you, the friendship that’s missing, and the dark cloud of depression that hovers over you may have been too much to handle by yourself but God is here to help you. You and God are always a majority! May we all lift up our eyes to God and find Him as our help today is my prayer.
