1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him for He careth for you.

There was an episode of “The Biggest Loser” recently where the contestants were asked to carry weights equal to the amount of weight they had lost up a hill. As they reached certain milestones they were allowed to remove some weight. Once they reached the top all the weight was removed. As we walk through life there is a tendency for us to take on more and more of the cares of life. As we do, we become more and more unproductive and overwhelmed by life. If that’s you, let me encourage you to begin to dismantle the weight issues that have overwhelmed you. Take each one before God and allow Him to take control of every situation. Commit to not pick them back up and trust God to handle it. May we enjoy the freedom of fully trusting in God is my prayer.
