Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry.

There’s something that seems to be missing from the Gospel message today; Jesus must be the Lord of your life! That’s what seems to be missing in the lives of many people of faith. The Psalmist understood the power of allowing God to be his Lord. He knew that if God was really Lord, then he could trust in Him, wait on Him, and He would hear him. If Christ is the Lord of our life then we can trust Him, wait on Him, and He will hear us. For Christ to be our Lord we must give Him ownership of our life, place His will above ours, and let Him direct our paths. May we allow Christ the position of Lord of our lives is my prayer.
