Matthew 2:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Christmas, my favorite time of the year! A time to remember the greatest gift that has ever been given, Emmanuel, God with us. Jesus the Son of God come to earth to save us from our sins. While people still debate the validity and even the necessity of Christmas the greatest gift ever given just keeps on giving. Jesus came to earth to die for all mankind; the skeptic, the agnostic, the deceived, and even the atheist and while they doubt and disbelieve, He keeps on loving them. Like a present under the tree, Jesus waits for us to open Him up into our lives.  If you are not a Christian no amount of gifts will satisfy the longing in your soul. No matter how valuable your gift may be without Jesus it will just be another empty Christmas and when the paper and boxes are taken out to the trash and the tree is recycled, you will still feel that emptiness inside. Make this Christmas the greatest event in your life and receive the  Christ of Christmas. May we not only receive Christ this Christmas but may we share Him as well is my prayer.
