John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.

I just love how Jesus words simplify some of the most complex issues of our day. With all the religious options in our world many people struggle to figure out God and how to approach Him. Even in the evangelical churches there are so many different doctrinal positions, types of churches, and ways to worship that even someone raised in church can get confused at times. Jesus simply says that His Father is seeking people who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. In other words He is looking for people who will bow before Him in open honesty and acknowledge Him as their heavenly Father. If you are struggling to find God in the religious maze we live in today, just find a place to get alone with Him, bow before Him, ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and tell God that you want to have a personal relationship with Him. The Bible says that if we will confess our sins, He will be faithful to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. May we all worship God in spirit and in truth is my prayer.
