When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. (Matthew 27:24 KJV)

My Mother told me many years ago, “don’t tell people to get off the fence. You are either for God or against him, but there is no middle ground”. Pilate sees enough in Jesus to not want to kill Him, but he doesn’t have what it takes to defend Him. Half baked cookies are awesome, but a wishy washy, halfhearted, noncommittal Christian is repulsive! Be bold with your faith today! Jump off the fence and let everyone know that you are in relationship with the King of Kings!
