2Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
Life is just how Paul described it; it’s a fight! From birth to death it’s one challenge to the next of struggling for existence. The enemy is trying to destroy us and we must fight him every step of the way. I watched my Dad fight for his last breath battling an asthmatic seizure, my Grandmother used her last ounce of strength fighting hardening of the arteries, and my Grandfather passed away after battling leukemia for years. We were never promised a bed of roses with no thorns if we would commit ourselves to Christ but we do have the promise that He will be with us through every trial we face. Paul said that he had finished his course and had kept the faith. That really is the key; to never give up our faith. To keep believing all the way to Heaven, no matter how tough it gets. What ever challenge you’re facing today or whatever dart the enemy is hurling at you, just know this, your faith can overcome anything. May we hold fast to the shield of faith and quench every fiery dart the enemy is throwing at us is my prayer.
Keeping it Real!
