James 1:14-16 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (16)Do not err, my beloved brethren.

While on her first ski trip years ago, my daughter was enticed by her friends to leave the beginner slopes and join them on a regular slope. I love to hear her tell the story of how she got off that slope. As soon as she stepped off the ski lift she knew she was in trouble. The slope was much steeper than they said it was and she didn’t have the skills to ski down it. She basically ended up taking her skis off and walking down the mountain. If the lust of your flesh has taken you to a place you don’t want to be, it may be time to start walking. Shake off the sin by repenting to God and walk your way back to the straight and narrow path you were once on. May we not allow our flesh to control us or entice us into the wrong thing is my prayer.
