1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.

Humility seems to be one of those godly characteristics that is unexpectedly overtaken by pride. I mean, we want to be godly and please our heavenly Father but the sinful desires of the flesh have a tendency to creep in. The choice is really up to us whether we will live godly and exhibit godly character or not. Try choosing humility instead of pride. It’s amazing when we do how everything around us changes. The view through humility is so liberating and refreshing. It takes the pressure off of having to be right all the time or always having to be the one that’s giving our opinion. And that’s not even mentioning how awesome it is to humbly take everything to our Father in prayer with assurance that He hears us and is at work for us. May we humble ourselves before God and watch Him exalt His people is my prayer.
