2Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

This world can become a very dark place. Depression can creep in, you can find yourself isolated and alone, and even thoughts of suicide can overtake you but I have good news for you! Jesus is the light of the world and He longs to light up your life. He offers us love, joy, and peace. He will purge us of our sins by the blood that He shed for us on Calvary and create in us a clean heart. He will heal our broken hearts, mend our bruised mind and restore unto us what the devil has stolen from us. He will turn the darkest night into the brightest day. May we let Jesus, the daystar, arise in our hearts is my prayer.
