Rev. 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Herein lies the secret of the success of the Christian Church, it’s not in our prosperity, our numbers, or our abilities. The success of the Church is threefold:

(1) We have been washed of our sins by the blood of Jesus. His death on the cross has purged us of our sins and set us free from the addictions that once bound us. Sin no longer controls our life.

(2) We have a powerful testimony. When a blood washed saint of God speaks the words of our testimony the anointing of the Spirit of God empowers those words to touch the lost and bring victory.

(3) We are not afraid to die for our faith. The enemy fears a people who are not afraid to die.

Success is simple; we commit our lives to Christ and allow His blood to purge us of our sins, we testify every chance we get of God’s work in our lives, and we allow Him to build our faith to the point that He is more important to us than life itself. May we all find success in the simplicity of serving Christ is my prayer.
