Real Church started long before it had a name or a building. It began as a dream — a vision God gave our pastor nearly two decades ago.
It was bold, even daunting: a church filled with passionate worshipers, where lives would be changed, hearts healed, and Jesus boldly proclaimed. Like many God-sized dreams, it didn’t come with a roadmap — only a sense of calling and the faith to take one step at a time.
That’s exactly what our team did. We gathered in a living room, prayed together, and trusted that as we moved forward, God would reveal the next stone under our feet.
Those early days were humble. A handful of dreamers met in a small living room, believing God was building something significant.
Eventually, He led us to a tiny 600-square-foot building in Pinehurst, TX — complete with an outdoor restroom! It was far from glamorous, but it was holy ground.
In that little room, relationships were built, vision was cast, and the name “Real Church” was born — a place where real people could encounter a real God. As the church grew, so did our need for space.
God provided again — this time, a 3,000-square-foot warehouse that needed serious work. And with grit, sweat, and a lot of prayer, we turned it into a place of worship. On Easter Sunday 2015, we held our very first service in our new home.
Since becoming a sovereign church in 2017, we’ve seen countless moments of transformation within these walls: salvations, baptisms, healings, restored marriages, and generations worshiping together. We believe the story is still unfolding.
God is growing something very special here. You’re not seeing us as a finished product. You’re stepping into the story with us — in the middle of the miracle. Real Church isn’t just a place. It’s people. It’s purpose. And our next chapters? They’re going to be the best ones yet!
