The most powerful thing we can do with our life is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Not only does our faith afford to us a future in Heaven but it also gives us the ability to overcome every obstacle in life. Abraham, the father of the faith, was persuaded that what God promised, God performed. He serves as our example of how faith is supposed to operate. God promises, we simple believe! Like Abraham, we must have a made up mind about God and His power. “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways” (James 1:8). The weakest state of mind we could find ourselves in, is to believe one day and doubt the next. To avoid instability in our spirit we must fill our hearts with the Word of God which in turn will build our faith in God. The question we should ask ourselves is, am I persuaded that He is able? If the answer is yes, then we are on our way to a made up mind. May our faith soar to new heights as we develop a made up mind is my prayer.
