Psalms 78:5-7 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: (6)That the generations to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children. (7)That why might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God,  but keep his commandments.

It’s so sad to me to realize that we have another generation of children starting another school year without the Bible and God even being mentioned in our schools. Since God entrusted our children to us, not the government school system, it is our responsibility to teach them God’s Word. We must arise from the ruins of our godless nation and declare the Word of the Lord to our children. When my children went to college they were shocked to meet other students, at their christian University, that didn’t know the simplest of Bible stories. Obviously their parents had not taught them from the Bible and the schools they attended were obviously godless. The only guarantee your child has of learning God’s ways is by you. Develop a strategy for teaching your children God’s Word. A daily family devotional is an excellent way to learn God’s Word together or just reading the Bible together is another way to ensure that they are getting the Word of God in their hearts. May we arise and declare God’s Word to this generation so that hope can be restored to our godless country is my prayer.
