Philippians 3:13, 14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, (14) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Ending 2014 and heading into a new year I want to encourage you to take on the attitude of the Apostle Paul. His attitude was, I’m pressing on! No matter what, I’m pressing on! Whether ship wreck, snake bite, or another beating, I’m pressing on! No matter what happened yesterday or what I may face today, I’m pressing on! Life can throw us some seriously unkind and unfair situations but the truth is that’s just how life is. The Bible says it rains on the just and the unjust alike, what makes the difference is our attitude. Instead of facing life with a “press on” attitude too many people are playing the blame game. Blaming every negative thing on their parents, other people or even God. As we enter into a new year it might be time to adopt a new attitude. One that says, “I’m pressing on”! May we all press into 2015 is my prayer.
