Matthew 24:4,5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.    (5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I and Christ; and shall deceive many.

Deception, what an awful thing. Deception has ruined marriages, cost people their careers, and destroyed the trust of many. Jesus warned that in the last days many would be deceived about who the Christ was. Christ means “Anointed One” and there can only be one “Anointed One” of God to be the Savior of the world and His name is Jesus. In John 14:6 Jesus declared that He was the way, the truth and the light and that no man could come to the Father but by Him. Don’t let the devil deceive you about the truth of God’s Word. Don’t let the devil deceive you about some kind of new enlightenment, there is only one light that can light up the darkness of this world and that is the light of the Gospel of Christ. Don’t let the devil deceive you about there being many paths to God, Jesus said (John 10:1) that He was the door to the sheepfold and any one who comes another way was a thief and a robber. Let God fill your mind with clarity on the issue of Christ. He is the way, the truth and the life. May we as the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ give glory and honor to His name is my prayer.
