Luke 12:18-21 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. (19)And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. (20)But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? (21) So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

All the plans of men are nothing but foolishness if they don’t revolve around the will of God. God’s plan must be the center of everything we do or our plans are in vain. The furtherance of the kingdom of God and the salvation of the lost is the will of God for every believer. As we work to accomplish His will God has promised that He will take care of our needs. (Mat.6:33) Putting God’s will front and center in our lives assures us of His provision. Don’t be a fool and get caught up in the pursuit of things that will never satisfy but rather spend your life doing the will of the Father. The joy His provision will bring, will far outweigh any riches we could ever attain. May we fulfill God’s will on earth is my prayer.
