Don’t Slumber

Matthew 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Just because Jesus has not raptured His Church yet, does not mean He’s not going to. As the Lord, in His mercy and grace, tarries His coming there is a tendency for us to become slack in our pursuit of Him. Paul encouraged us to finish stronger than we began because He understood the failings of our human nature. To avoid spiritual slumbering we must be vigilant about our spiritual life. Reading our Bible, praying, and attending Church along with godly friends and filling our minds with good things all serve to keep us spiritually strong. It’s time to wipe the sleep from our eyes and go hard after God as we see the day of His return getting closer. May we be vigilant and alert as we keep our selves spiritually strong is my prayer.

Keeping it Real!
