Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hearth say, Come. and let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
The last call to salvation in the Bible is found in the last chapter of the last book. From the covering of Adam and Eve to the end of the Revelation, God is offering to us salvation from our sins. God’s plan for mankind is that we would reject sin and serve Him so that we could enjoy eternity with Him. The amazing thing is that Jesus has paid the price for our salvation at Calvary so that we could drink of the waters of life freely. Sin costs you everything, and salvation is free. It was a hundred and one degrees here in Texas yesterday and almost everyone at the checkout stand at Lowes was buying drinks with their materials. A bottled water costs about $1.69, at the back of the store is a free water fountain, all you have to do is push the button and it flows cold fresh water. Why people weren’t standing in line at the water fountain instead, I can’t understand. I stood at that water fountain alone and drank my fill. God invites you to do the same at the waters of life. May we drink of the water of life freely and enjoy the salvation it brings is my prayer.
