Genesis 37:28

Then some Midianite traders passed by, so they pulled him up and lifted Joseph out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. Thus they brought Joseph into Egypt.

Josephs brothers had determined to kill him because of the dreams God had given him. They had thrown him into a pit in the wilderness to leave him for dead but decided to sell him into slavery instead. The same brothers who threw him in the pit, lifted him out of the pit just to sell him into a deeper pit of a lifetime of slavery. Be careful how you get out of the pit you’re in, you might end up in a worse one. May we trust God, only, for our deliverance is my prayer.
