Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Just a couple of thoughts as you get ready to go face another day.

1. The enemy has plans to mess with you.

2. God’s armor covers every part of you.

What a reassuring thought that we can put on God’s armor. When I was a little boy my Dad was a Harris County Deputy Sheriff. I was always enamored with his uniform and on occasion he would let me put on some of his accessories. Putting on that belt, holster, hat, and badge made me feel ten feet tall. With it, I felt the authority and prestige of being a police officer. As you  head out the door today, put on the whole armor of God. Wearing God’s armor will provide you all the protection you need and will identify you as belonging to the army of God. May we put on the whole armor of God and defeat the devil is my prayer.
