Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

It’s hilarious to me how self-centered we can be and not even realize it. It seems that everything in the world revolves around us. We even blame bad weather on the devil’s attempts to stop us, when the truth is that bad weather is just a part of life. There is going to be good times and bad times, dancing and mourning, laughter and tears, and even life and death; this is how life is. It rains on everybody, the good and the bad. Life is a few days of trouble, according to Job, but it’s not the trouble that makes our life, it’s the way we deal with it. Instead of wasting time trying to figure out who to blame for our latest trouble we should be about meeting each challenge with faith and an expectation of victory. We should face each day with an eagerness to see what God is going to do in our lives today. Let faith arise and watch the enemy scatter! May we learn to trust God to bring the victory is my prayer.
