John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Every time I’m faced with a question that I’m having trouble getting a clear answer to I like to look at what Jesus said for clarification. When it comes to the age old question about how to get to Heaven Jesus makes it very clear with His answer. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” To the amazement of many and the disappointment of many others He didn’t say that a particular religion would get you to Heaven. He also didn’t say that a particular act would get you to Heaven. Neither did He say that a certain lifestyle would get you to Heaven. He just said that Heaven’s access was solely through Him. In other words, religion, activity, and lifestyle without Christ is useless but of course with Christ they become powerful bi-products of our eternal relationship with Him. If you are not trusting in Jesus for salvation you must make Him the Lord of your life if you want Heaven to be your eternal home. May we all find Jesus as our way, our truth, and our life is my prayer.
