Psalms 31:24 Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.
One of my Dad’s frequent quotes was, “keep your chin up”. That saying was usually directed at me when he saw me discouraged. I can still hear his voice, and see his smile every time discouragement tries to set in on me. Let me encourage you in the Lord today to “keep your chin up”. Don’t let the devil lick the sweet off of your candy. Instead of focusing on your problem, turn your eyes toward Jesus. Focus on the One who is able to meet your needs, overcome your enemy, and has already given Himself for you. It is His desire to strengthen you through your battle. He may not always remove the problem, but He will strengthen you to the place that you will be able to endure until the victory is complete. Until the victory is complete, “keep your chin up” and don’t let the enemy see you sweat. May we be encouraged, strengthened, and have our hope renewed in the Lord is my prayer.
Keeping it Real!
