Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

God desires to bless us more than we know. Blessing is His nature because He is love and blessing is the expression of His love. Blessings and cursings are set in motion by the way we live. How we conduct our lives determines whether we will be blessed or cursed. We can only blame ourselves for the cursings in our lives, not God. It was God that gave Adam and Eve the garden and it was Adam and Eve that brought about the curse, not God. Living the blessed life is achieved by developing a heart for pleasing God, respecting His judgements, and honoring His commandments. If we do those things, blessings will come our way. May we please God in all we do and enjoy the blessings of His favor is my prayer.
