1John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

The world system is dominated by the spirit of antichrist and the lustful products of this world system are used by satan to destroy lives. As Christians we are to separate ourselves from the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life and live holy unto the Lord. Our motivation to live the life of holiness must be our love of the Father. God gave his Son on Calvary so that we might live free from sin and live eternally with Him; what greater reason could there be to love the Father. Not only has He sacrificed His Son for us but He has given us the Holy Spirit to walk with us and guide us into His pathway of righteousness. He has promised to supply our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus and He has prepared a place for us in Heaven. Love the Father today by living in such a way that you will bring glory to His name. May we all love the Father is my prayer.
