Psalms 9:1 I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous works.

Nobody likes a half-hearted, wishy-washy person but everyone respects a sold-out, all-in person. Think about it, your spouse wouldn’t stay with you too long if you were dividing your attention with them and another person. Your boss wouldn’t keep you around very long if you spent time on the job taking phone calls for another business interest.  Sounds stupid but that’s exactly what we’re doing when we only give God part of our heart. It’s like sometimes we just open up a small place in our lives for God and allow the rest of life to have the biggest part of our heart. God wants to be in the center of every part of our life. He has direction and blessing for everything we do and everything we are. Try inviting God into everything you do today and see what a difference a whole heart will make. May we give God our whole heart is my prayer.
