Hebrews 13:5,6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (6) So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

The spirit of fear is sweeping across the entire earth. From Russia’s aggression in the Ukraine, to Iran’s nuclear proliferation, to ISIS sweeping across the middle east. Not to mention the border problems, civil unrest, and economic disaster in the United States, fear is gripping the world. Fear is one of satan’s greatest weapons. He’s used fear to shut the mouths of prophets, to stop the advance of armies, and to keep God’s people quiet. God has promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us. He goes before us and makes a way for us. He opens doors no man can shut and closes doors that we shouldn’t enter. He guides us, protects us, and comforts  us, so what do we have to fear. God has sealed our future in Heaven and has prepared a place for each of our eternities. So, what do we have to fear? Sure we could suffer and even die but nothing and nobody can keep us from the love of God. The Lord is our helper and He will not fail us. May we cast off the spirit of fear and allow our faith to soar is my prayer.
