Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Sounds like God’s not interested in lip service; He wants a people that serve Him with their whole heart. It’s so easy to play along with the religious game of going to church on Sunday morning, sacrificing that one hour, singing the praise songs, and even dropping a little money in the plate when it goes by. The truth is that has very little to do with real service to God. He is looking for a people who have devoted their lives to Him and have given their whole heart to loving Him. Anything less is just lip service. May our heart for God be abundant and may our love Him match our words is my prayer.
