John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is,when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.
Several times in scripture God uses the word now to describe timing and our reaction to it. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now, faith is”. To the Samaritan woman Jesus said, “now is the time to worship God”. Think about it, how long have we put off doing some thing that we know we must do, or say something that we know we have to say, or commit to something that is waiting on our commitment? When it comes to God there is no procrastination, He simply says, “Now”. It only takes a moment with God for everything to change. Right now we can be saved, right now we can make the change, right now we can step into God’s will, right now can be the beginning of a new life. Our role is to simply act in the now. May we respond to God right now is my prayer!
