And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. (Acts 16:25 KJV)
Let me paint this picture for you; so dark it hurts your eyes to try to see, rats and roaches crawling everywhere, a stench in the air that burns your sinuses, and the sound of prisoners in agony. It was in these conditions that we find Paul and Silas praying and singing in. They talked to God and offered up praise to Him in the worst possible conditions and God responded by miraculously delivering them. You may not be in prison today but you may be in the worst place mentally, physically, or emotionally you’ve ever been. Let me encourage you to talk to God, and as you converse with Him, offer Him your sincere praise. It won’t be long before you’re saying, “look what the Lord has done”. May we praise our way to victory is my prayer.
Keeping the Victory,
Pastor Crowson
