Ezekiel 37:3-5 And He said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O, Lord God, thou knows. (4)Again He said unto me, Prophesy, upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the Word of the Lord. (5) Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.

“Prophesy upon these bones”, what a statement! Ezekiel was looking over a valley filled with dead skeletal remains, nothing but dried up dusty bones. Of course, that’s just what he saw. What God sees in our situation is rarely what we see, what God saw in that valley was a mighty army. You may be looking at a situation that seems impossible, where there is no hope and everything you’re looking at seems of no value. God says, “prophesy upon these bones”, speak to your situation with words of faith, seeing through the eyes of God. Lay aside your human tendency to only see through physical eyes and see through the eyes of faith. What you see in the physical will begin to change in front of you and what you saw through eyes of faith will come to fruition. May we speak words of faith and watch God do mighty things is my prayer.
