Psalm 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
There was a time in America when Revival was thought of as week long meetings with a fiery Evangelist speaking. Those kinds of meetings are few and far between nowadays but the need for reviving is certainly more prevalent today than ever. The Psalmist looked at the condition of his country and cried out to God for revival. The cry for Revival can be heard in various places around our country today and the sound of that cry is getting louder. As Christians awake to the condition of our country and the need for God more and more people are joining in on the prayer for revival. Someone just shared a dream they had with me where God showed them that the dead were all around us and must be awakened to their spiritual condition. Our government is out of control, our schools have become drug and sex infested war zones, and our neighborhoods are filled with crime. To free our country from this nightmare we must cry out for Revival. May we allow God to revive us so that we can lead our country into Revival is my prayer.
