Job 1:21 And said, naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

The story of Job is an amazing testimony of what true riches are all about. Job was the richest man in the east when satan attacked him. He was blessed with a huge family and much possessions. I’ve  heard people say, “If I had the money Donald Trump has my life would be so much easier”. But the truth is that living on the top of Trump tower does not make life easier and Job’s experience certainly teaches us that. In one day Job loses everything dear to him. For most people this would be the moment they give up on God. All the stuff is gone, including the family, so how could God care about me now? But Job does just the opposite, he falls on his face worships God, regains his perspective, and declares his allegiance to God. Job was not just rich in stuff, he was also rich in God.  His devotion to God brought him through the toughest test I can imagine and relationship with God will do the same thing for me and you. May we all fall so deeply in love with God that nothing can separate us from Him.
