Proverbs 16:16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

It’s amazing to me to see the people that Americans idolize and put in a place of prominence. We will place a billionaire on Fox News and let him give us his opinion on political matters while he himself has been married three times and is the owner of casinos. The Bible teaches us that if a man can’t rule his own house well he shouldn’t be in leadership. This seems to be one of the fatal flaws in our country today; the love of money. While the Bible elevates wisdom and understanding, we’re spending our energy seeking after gold and silver. Take some time today to seek after wisdom and understanding. Study your Bible, converse with God, seek out counsel from a wise mentor, or read a good book from a christian author. Invest in wisdom and understanding and God will take care of your money. May we find wisdom and understanding is my prayer.
