1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

A crazy phenomenon developed in my son when he was 2 years old. All of a sudden he began to spit! Like an old man chewing tobacco he would rare back and spit with no consideration of where he was at. He would spit on the floor, on the couch or wherever he chose. Of course, we very quickly corrected him and nipped that bad habit in the bud. The sad thing about this situation was where he learned it from, you see his Dad had developed the habit of spitting while chewing tobacco and he was just mimicking what he was seeing me do. That was when I realized how closely my son was watching me. You may not realize it yourself but people are watching you very closely. Paul basically covered every area life when he explained to Timothy how we ought to live in front of others. Our example for living is Christ and His perfection should be our goal. May we live in such a way that others can learn from our example is my prayer.
