From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (Ephesians 4:16 KJV)
A good friend of mine and I spent the last two days removing an old deck and rebuilding it. I hurt so bad in my shoulders from all the pulling and heavy lifting that I could hardly sleep last night. The old saying fits, “I used muscles I forgot I had”. Muscles that don’t get used tend to rebel when abruptly thrown into action. Sometimes the pain in the body of Christ is from a lack of exercise. My Chiropractor says the best way to prevent the kind of pain I’m having is regular exercise to stay in shape. As it pertains to the body of Christ, I don’t want to be a source of pain, I want to be a blessing. May we all exercise our gifts so that we will be spiritually strong is my prayer.
Keeping the Victory,
