Proverbs 12:15 Fools think they need no advice, but the wise listen to others.

How many times have I tried to do something without getting advice on how to do it and gotten myself in trouble? Let’s just say too many times. When we’re left to ourselves we can mess up the simplest of things. The Bible declares that there is safety in a multitude of counselors so why we try to go it alone is beyond me. Pride has a way of giving us a false sense of security that ultimately falls down around us. Instead of allowing our pride to destroy us we should lean on the brothers and sisters God has given us to help us make better decisions. There is no weakness in seeking help there is only weakness in standing alone. May we hold ourselves accountable to each other and find safety in the multitude of counselors God has given us is my prayer.
