Luke 13:18, 19 Then He said, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? (19)It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.”
What an amazing thought! The insignificant tiny mustard seed, planted in the right soil becomes a significant tree. That’s the kingdom of God. God takes people who may be considered insignificant, brings us into His kingdom and does something truly significant with our lives. If you feel like you are of no significance, give yourself to God totally, allow Him to plant you in His garden, and watch how He brings you to a place of significance. No longer will your job be just a job, it will become your mission field. No longer will you blame people for your problems, you will take the battle to your real enemy, the devil. No longer will you be content sitting on the sidelines observing the game, you will be in the game fulfilling the role that only you could fill. What I’m saying is that God wants to raise us up and do something significant with our lives. That’s what the kingdom of God is like! May we all step into the incredible things that God wants do through us is my prayer.
