Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Some friends of ours just had their first baby a few days before Christmas. I couldn’t think of a better present ever. Thinking of the birth of my own children always fills my heart with joy and encourages me to carry on. Of course, I can’t mention children without talking about my grandson. The blessings and joy he has brought to my life is immeasurable. Considering all the wonderful aspects of children makes me love God even more because of His sacrifice for us. The gift of His Son set the bar for gift giving so high that we could never reach it. He has given us His Son, the best gift ever. May we honor God by excepting His gift is my prayer.
