Daniel 6:16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions.  Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, thy God whom thou servest continually, He will deliver thee.

When Daniel made his stand for God he knew that there was a possibility he would die in the lion’s den. His decision to honor God was not made considering his life, he was considering God’s reputation. His witness for God was more important than his own life. It’s interesting to note that the king who sentenced Daniel to death knew that God was going to save Daniel. The lion’s den was no match for God! As you head out for another day in you lion’s den just remember that God is with you. Just as Daniel was delivered from the lion’s den, God will bring you out of whatever your facing if you will trust and honor Him. May we all honor God is my prayer.
