The power of the Gospel is the power to change lives. Through the power of God old things can pass away and all things become new. The Gospel so radically changes a person that everyone knows there is something different about the person who has received it. There is a form of godliness that exists today that has no power. It’s the form of religion that requires no change in a person and has no standard of holiness, as prescribed in the Bible. Many are flocking to churches that are preaching this powerless gospel in search of an easy fix to the mess their life has become only to find themselves still empty and frustrated with life. It’s time for a real revival in America where the power of God is experienced and lives are radically changed by it. May we seek God until His power changes us and our country is my prayer.
