Romans 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen

On August 18, 1983 hurricane Alicia roared onto Galveston Island with 115mph winds and a 10′ tidal surge. Carol I lived less than an hour from the coast at that time and were greeted with hurricane force winds in the middle of the night. Trees were falling all around our neighborhood and it seemed like the devastating winds would never stop. It proved to be one of the most terrifying things we have ever went through as 21 people died during that horrific storm. While it was going on it seemed like that storm would never end but it did. Here’s the good news for you; Satan’s time to attack you is short and the grace of God will carry you through anything Satan throws at you. God’s peace will visit you and He will bruise Satan under your feet shortly. Let me say it this way, victory is your’s shortly, this too shall pass! Let the grace of God, His unmerited favor, carry you during the storm and let His peace visit you when it’s over. May we hang on to God as we await victory is my prayer.
