2Corinthians 6:2 For He saith, I heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

What a promise from God! Now is the day of salvation! Where ever you are, what ever situation you find yourself in, what ever issues are holding you back, today, can be your day of salvation. I’ve always loved the word succoured, it is a word that’s not used much anymore, but has a powerful meaning. It is a term of endearment and loving passion. It’s the idea of trying to move someone your way. In other words, God is lovingly trying to get us to come his way. He has planned a day of salvation for everyone He has created and today could be your day of salvation. Just call out to Him right where you are, He is standing right beside you, where He has always been, just waiting on you to call out to Him. He has prepared a place at His table for you, He has a mansion for you in Heaven, He stands ready to supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory, and He has a plan for your life that no one else can fulfill. Make today your day of salvation! May we walk in the salvation God has provided for us is my prayer.
